Pioneers in Continuous Aluminum Coils.
It was founded in 1998, together with CEX, to invest in continuous aluminum coating lines because they could not find suppliers and could not offer shutter slat profiling services. We found a niche market that exceeds sales expectations during the first years. In 2014 we put our money into an aluminum foundry, in 2017 into continuous casting, and in 2021 into cold rolling. In this way, Alumasa is 100% self-sufficient in transforming scrap metal into lacquered aluminum coils.
In Alumasa, scrap metal is turned into a valuable resource. Our aluminum recycling process allows us to transform waste materials into high-quality aluminum coils, thereby reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainability at every step of our production.
Our continuous casting technology at Alumasa lets us make aluminum products efficiently and with great precision. This process helps us get aluminum coils that are top-notch in terms of strength, flexibility, and finish, making our customers super happy and our products super awesome.
Cold rolling is a crucial step in our production process at Alumasa. With this method, we are able to refine and improve the properties of aluminum, making it smoother and more uniform. This allows us to offer premium quality products that meet the highest industry standards.
In Alumasa, we use the tension leveling method to ensure the uniformity and exceptional quality of our aluminum coils. This process helps us get a smooth and precise finish, making sure our products meet the highest industry standards.
Our continuous coating process at Alumasa allows us to offer a wide range of colors and finishes to meet our customers’ needs. With state-of-the-art technology and a focus on durability and corrosion resistance, our continuous lacquered products are ideal for a variety of applications in the aluminum industry.
Our raw material consists of aluminum waste compatible with our alloys.
With a melting point of 750º, we're able to melt the aluminum waste.
In the melting furnaces, we can melt ingots, clean scraps, or retrieve the liquid metal from the rotary.
We continuously feed the casting process with alloyed metal to get aluminum coils.
With cold lamination, we reduce the thickness of our casting coils so that we can use them in the rest of the processes.
This is an intermediate step between rolling passes.
Once we reach the desired thickness, we gotta flatten the material to let go of all the stress and get a nice and smooth surface for painting.
We paint the aluminum continuously through rollers using the "coil coating" technique.
We have a strong commitment to Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, leading with innovation and environmental responsibility for a more sustainable tomorrow.
